R,°� MIAMI CITY HALL 3500 Pan American Dr, Miami FI 33133 Federal regulations governing CDBG, and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised of the new allocation(s)/amend ment(s) to the funding of the city program(s) as indicated below: * t 1. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG"), Home Investment Partnerships ("HOME") administration funds and Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids ("HOPWA") program delivery funds to Sunshine for All, Inc., for the 2022-2023 fiscal year as specified in below; subject to the availability of funding, to provide Housing Quality Standard Inspection services ("HQS") for the City of Miami. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Petroleum Restoration Program Site Access Agreement with the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection ("FDEP"), for the purpose of granting access to conduct a FDEP funded environmental assessment and if necessary, remediation on City of Miami owned property located at 5215 West Flagler Street, Miami, FL, 33134, in which the environmental assessment will be conducted by a FDEP's selected contractor at no cost to the City of Miami, and in which the results of the environmental assessment will reveal whether there is need for further testing and remediation, or risk -based corrective action. The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution by the City Commission, related to the proposed funding recommendation(s)/ amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Action Plan. t This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begin on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, and ends on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 14 NE 1 Avenue, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33132 (HCD Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted to: nancyromani@miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than February 21, 2023. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped.
