RESOLUTION N0. K
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH A NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR
OBJECTIONS TO THE ACCEPTANCE BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION BY
ROB -EL CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION, OF MANOR
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT PHASE III C.I.P. PROJECT
NO. 341090.
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that Rob -El Construction
Corporation, has satisfactorily completed the construction of a
street improvement designated as MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT PHASE
III C.I.P. PROJECT NO. 341090; and
WHEREAS, the City Charter requires the publication of a
notice of public hearing for objections by persons interested in
or affected by said improvement as to the acceptance thereof by
the Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish a
notice in a newspaper published in the City of Miami, Florida,
stating that at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at a
certain day and hour to be determined by the City Clerk, the
Commission will hold a public hearing to hear any objections by
persons interested in or affected by City Commission acceptance
of the completed construction of IIA14OR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT PHASE
III C.I.P. PROJECT 110. 341090.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption pursuant to law.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the
attached resolution authorizing the City Clerk to publish a
notice of public hearing for objections to the acceptance by the
City Commission of MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT PHASE III C.I.P.
PROJECT NO. 341090.
BACKGROUND
The Department of Public Works has determined that the
construction of new asphaltic pavement, concrete curbs and/or
gutters, concrete sidewalk, storm drainage facilities, and
landscapi-ng and all necessary appurtenances, has been completed
in the area bordered by N.14. 46-49 Streets and N.H. 7-12 Avenues.
It is now in order for the City Coiar,iission to hold a public
hearing for objections by persons interested in or affected by
this improvement as to the acceptance of the col;ipleted work,
thereof by the Commission. Authorization to the City Clerk to
advertise for a public hearing has been incorporated in the
resolution awarding a contract in recent projects. This project
was awarded in October, 1983, prior to the change in procedure.
