Dear Mayor and Commissioners, City Clerk
I take this opportunity to strongly urge you to Y+
r consider funding the proposed Latin Quarter Specialty
Center in Little Havana. In particular, I hope you
take into account the number of families and business
owners whose lives will be directly affected by your
decision. Merchants and residents of Little Havana
have worked very hard in making this project a reality.
If it is approved, this Center will be an asset
to.the neighborhood and to this City. In addition, $
funding the project will send a clear message to inves—
tors that the City of Miami is determined to revitalize City
and redevelop the Latin Quarters and will be an important ruing
factor in: attracting additional investors to the area.
I strongly, --support the Latin Quarter Specialty ;u
Center and I urge you to do the same.:;
Sincerely yours 4

/ Thank you for the opportunity to participate in your meetings
_ regarding the Latin.Quarter. I am very impressed with the efforts
of the City of Miami and other community leaders regarding the
project. r,
As I stated before, The Rouse Company is not interested in
participating in the project from a development standpoint because
of the dificulty of projects of large sizes to justify costs and
internal needs.
However, I am committed to offering all of the resources of Bayside ,
and Rouse -Miami to support your efforts in,marketing :;merchandising, ;?
design and leasing. We feel this is an important project for. he City sn
of Miimi. Please let me know if we could play a"larger;.role by'serving ;%-
on your board or in a report capacity.
for the o rtunity and lots of luck to.you.
Again, thank you Ppo

Dear Mayor and Commissioners:
I have recently met with members of

Project.
I feel that this project will be beneficial to the community both
