A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK OF
C. TARAFA CONTRACTINGi INC. AT A TOTAL COST
OF $24,437.51 FOR FIRE STATION #8 - WASHROOM
MODIFICATION CIP PROJECT NO. 313018 AND
AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $4,141.15. -
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated June 130 1988
between the City of Miami, Florida and C. Tarafa Contracting,
Inc. for FIRE STATION #8 - WASHROOM MODIFICATION C.I.P. Project
No. 313018; and '-
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed by C.
Tarafa Contracting, Inc. and they have furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials have
—i' been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and

WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of the
Department of Public Works recommend that the completed work be'..
—_ accepted and final payment made to the contractor;*
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by C. Tarafa
Contracting for FIRE STATION #8 - WASHROOM MODIFICATION C.I.P.
Project No. 313018 is hereby accepted at a total cost of
$4,141.15.

Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami are}3,

hereby authorized to pay C. Tarafa Contracting, Inc. a balance of
$4,141.15 as full and..final payment for all work performed and
all materials furnished in connection with FIRE STATION #8' -
WASHROOM MODIFICATION C.I.P. Project No. 313018.
