RESOLUTION NO. 91,
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ISSUE A REVOCABLE PERMIT TO MIAMI BRIDGE,
INC., A NOT -FOR -PROFIT CORPORATION, IN A FORM
ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY AND
CONTAINING CERTAIN CONDITIONS, FOR THE USE OF
PROPERTY CONTROLLED OR TO BE CONTROLLED BY
THE CITY, KNOWN AS THE MIAMI RIVER RAPIDS
PARK, LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS THE EAST 1/2 OF
LOT 5, LOT 6 AND LOT 7, OF TWIN RIVER ISLAND
SUBDIVISION, FOR USE AS A RESIDENTIAL
FACILITY FOR RUNAWAYS AND A CRISIS
INTERVENTION CENTER FOR YOUTHS AGED 10
THROUGH 17 YEARS, FOR A USER FEE OF $1.00 PER
YEAR, FOR A TWENTY YEAR PERIOD, SAID PERMIT
TO BE BROUGHT BEFORE THE CITY COMMISSION
EVERY TWO YEARS FOR REVIEW AS TO COMPLIANCE
THEREWITH.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, #A
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
issue a Revocable Permit to Miami Bridge, Inc., a not -for -profit
corporation, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney and
containing conditions as stated herein, for the use of property
controlled or to be controlled by the City, known as the Miami
River Rapids Park, legally described as the East 1/2 of Lot 5,
Lot 6 and Lot 7, of Twin River Island Subdivision, as a
Residential Facility for Runaways and a Crisis Intervention
Center for Youths aged 10 through 17 years, for a user fee of
$1.00 per year, for a twenty year period; said Permit to be
brought before the City Commission every two years for review as
to compliance therewith.
Section 2(a). With respect to the East.1/2 of Lot 5 and all
of Lot 7, the Permit shall only be operative if the State of
Florida (i) executes a lease agreement for said property with the

i City; (ii) consents in writing to the Permit issuance; and (iiiy
approves in writing the proposed Management Flan of the City

City upon the execution of the above lease agreement.
(b). With respect to Lot 6, the Permit shall only
be operative if the conditions set forth in Subsection (a) hereof
are met.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption pursuant to law.
