Dear Cesar:
We respectfully request to be included in the Agenda of the
first possible City Commission Meeting in order to seek
approval of the following points for the implementation of
CARNAVAL MIAMI 90 in March 1990. (For references, please
see City Resolutions #88-357 and #89-194).
1 - EXTENSION OF THE FIREWORKS DEADLINE UNTIL 12:00 MIDNIGHT
on the following dater for the various events:
CARNAVAL NIGHT: MARCH 3, 1990 at the Orange Bowl
CARNAVAL MIAMI INTERNACIONAL: MARCH 10, 1990 at
WEEN Bayfront Park.
® SPONSOR RECOGNITION PARTY: MARCH 10, 1990 at the
Vizcaya Museum & Gardens.
2 - CLOSING OF THE STREETS FOR THE FOLLOWING EVENTS:
P_ASEO: MARCH 4, 1990 - 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM -
Rout.e as follows: West. Flagler Street. and Southwest
First Street. between 12th and 22 Avenues,
CARNAVAL MIAMI BIKE DASH: MARCH 10, 1990 - 2:00 PM
until 4:00 PM - Route as follows: The two Eastern most
Northbound lanes of Biscayne Boulevard from East.
Flagler Street to Northeast. Fourth Street.
CARNAVAL MIAMI 8K RUN: MARCH 10, 1990 - 5:00 PM until
7:00 PM - Route as follows:
Western most lane of Biscayne Boulevard from Northeast
Second Street to Northeast Fourth Street.

on March 11, 1990.
Beacom Boulevard between 7th and 8th Streets -
from 2:00 AM to 12:00 Midnight on March 11, 1990.
10th Street Road between 8th and 9th Streets -
from 12:00 Noon on March 9th to 12:00 Noon on March 12th.
23rd Avenue between 8th and 7th Streets -
from 12:00 Noon on March 10th to 12:00 Noon on March 11th.
3 - That all the Peddlers Occupational Licenses issued
under the provisions of Chapter 31 of the City Code-, a -
amended, Will not be valid between the hours of 2:00 AM
and 12:00 Midnight in the following designated arPa.s:

Southwest First Street between 12th and 22nd Avenues
