OF 1=3/4" FIRE HOSE UNDER AN EXISTING DADE COUNTY 131D NO. 999=37=60 FROM HAROLD'S SALES AND SERVICE COMPANY, INC, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND INSPECTION SERVICES AT A TOTAL PROPOSED COST OF $10,058.40; ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR FROM 1988=-89 OPERATING BUDGET ACCOUNT NO. 280601- 709; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE CHIEF PROCUREMENT OFFICER TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THIS EQUIPMENT: WHEREAS, the Department of Fire, Rescue and Inspection Services wishes to purchase 6,000 feet of 1-3/4" of Fire Hose under an existing Dade County Bid No. 999-37-600 from Harold's Sales and Service Co., Inc. at a total proposed amount of $10,058.40; and WHEREAS, this Fire Hose will be utilized by the Department of Fire, Rescue & Inspection Services to replace existing worn out and damaged fire hose; and WHEREAS, funds for this purchase will be available from the 1988-89 Operating Budget Account No. 280601-709; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of the Department of Fire, Rescue and Inspection Services recommend that the s purchase of said equipment from Harold's Sales & Service Co., Inc. be approved: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:r- f Section 1. The purchase of 6,000 feet of 1-3/4" Fire Hose and Service Co., Inc. under and existing Dade County Bid from Harold's Sales and Service Co., Inc. at a total proposed cost of - - $10,058.40 is hereby approved with funds therefor hereby i - allocated from the 1988-89 Operating Budget Account No. 280601- 709.
