ORDINANCE NO -
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF
ORDINANCE NO. 9500, AS AMENDED, THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, BY
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF
3490 AND 3500 MAIN HIGHWAY, MIAMI, FLORIDA
(MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN), FROM
SPI-2 COCONUT GROVE CENTRAL COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT AND RS-2/2 ONE FAMILY DETACHED
RESIDENTIAL TO GU GOVERNMENT USE BY MAKING
FINDINGS; AND BY MAKING ALL THE NECESSARY
CHANGES ON PAGE NO. 46 OF SAID ZONING ATLAS
MADE A PART OF ORDINANCE NO. 9500 BY
REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE 3,
SECTION 300, THEREOF; CONTAINING A REPEALER
PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.

WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board, at its meeting of
June 19, 1989, Item No. 1, following an advertised hearing,
adopted Resolution No. ZB 66-89, by a 9 to 0 vote, RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL of a change of zoning clg sification, as hereinafter set
forth; and

WHEREAS, it is found It t t e general approval of this
amendment will be in the b l✓interest of the citizens and the
City Commission is desiro of protecting the surrounding
residential district from even minimal negative traffic impact
and the City Commission has requested and the applicant has
agreed to certain additional conditions which shall be embodied
in a Voluntary Declaration of Restrictive Covenants proffered by
said applicants;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
