ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE, WITH ATTACHMENT, AMENDING THE
FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF ORDINANCE NO. 10544,
AS AMENDED, THE MIAMI COMPREHENSIVE
NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN 1989-2000, FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 3490 AND 3500 MAIN
HIGHWAY, MIAMI, FLORIDA (MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED HEREIN), BY CHANGING THE
DESIGNATION OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY FROM
RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL AND SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL TO MAJOR PUBLIC FACILITIES,
TRANSPORTATION AND UTILITIES; MAKING
FINDINGS; INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO
TRANSMIT A COPY OF THIS ORDINANCE TO THE
AFFECTED AGENCIES; AND PROVIDING A REPEALER
PROVISION, SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at Its meeting
of June 8, 1989, Item No. 1, following an advertised hearing
adopted Resolution No. PAS 2Y- 9, by a 7 to 0 vote, RECOMMENDING

general welfare of the f Miami and Its inhabitants to grant
this Comprehensive Plan hange as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, it Is found that the general approval of this
amendment will be In the best Interest of the citizens and the
C1ty Commission Is desirous of protecting the surrounding
residential district from even minimal negative traffic Impact
and the City Commission has requested and the applicant has
agreed to certain additional conditions which shall be embodied
In a Voluntary Declaration of Restrictive Covenants proffered by
said applicant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
