ORDINANCE NO. 10655
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4, ENTITLED
"ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES," OF THE CODE OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, BY
AMENDING SECTION 4-14, THEREOF ENTITLED
"EXCEPTIONS TO DISTANCE REQUIREMENTS" BY
REDUCING THE TIME REQUIRED FOR PRIVATE CLUBS
TO HAVE BEEN IN EXISTENCE FROM TWO YEARS TO
THREE MONTHS; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION
AND SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 4-14 of the Code of the City of Miami,
as amended, is hereby amended in the following particulars: I/
"CHAPTER 4
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Article I. In General.
Sec. 4-14. Exceptions to distance requirements.
(c) [The restrictions hereinabove set forth shall
not apply to] Private clubs, chartered in the
county for a period of not less than two—(23
years three C3) months.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances insofar as
they are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. If any section, part of section, paragraph,
clause, phrase, or word of this Ordinance is declared invalid,
the remaining provisions of this Ordinance shall not be affected.
Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted.
Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The
remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged.
Asterisks indicate omitted and unchanged material.

Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective thirty
(30) days after final reading and adoption hereof.
