HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-89-1087J-89-1150 = 11/22/89 RESOLUTION NO. _9 90*10 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF L & L BUSINESS INTERIORS FOR THE FURNISHING OF FOUR (4) WORKSTATIONS FOR THE LAW DEPARTMENT AT A TOTAL COST NOT TO EXCEED M 095.00•"; ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR FROM THE 1989-90 OPERATING BUDGET, ACCOUNT CODE N0. 230101- 840; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE CHIEF PROCUREMENT OFFICER TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THIS FURNITURE. WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were received November 20, 1989 for the furnishing of four (4) workstations for the Law Department; and a WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twenty eight (28) potential suppliers and four (4) bids were received; and WHEREAS, funds for this purchase will be available from the 1989-90 Operating Budget, Account No. 230101-840; and — WHEREAS, this furniture will be used by the Department of Law'for.four (4) legal secretaries; and the City Manager and the Director of the Law r WHEREAS, s Department recommend that the bid received from L & L Business a Interiors be accepted as the lowest responsible and responsive . - it bid; Y OW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY._- OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the s>= Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by ref erencl thereto and incorporated herein as if fully at forth in th3.a Section. r Section 2.
