A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE CITY
MANAGER'S ACTION IN ACCEPTING THE
APPRAISALS OF LEE H. WARONKER, WARONKER
AND ASSOCIATES, INC. & LEE V. CHASTAIN,
CHASTAIN APPRAISAL & CONSULTING, INC.,
BOTH MEMBERS OF THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE
OF REAL ESTATE APPRAISERS, AT A FEE OF
$4,500 AND $5,000 DOLLARS
RESPECTIVELY, FOR APPRAISALS OF THE FEE
SIMPLE AND LEASEHOLD INTERESTS FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 700-22 AND 726-32
NORTHEAST FIRST AVENUE, A/K/A CAMILLUS
HOUSE PROPERTY; ALLOCATING FUNDS,
THEREFOR FOR THESE APPRAISALS FROM
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 322056,
'CAMILLUS HOUSE LAND ACQUISITION"AS PER
ORDINANCE NO. 10642.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The action of the City Manager accepting the
appraisals of Lee H. Waronker, Waronker and Associates, Inc., and
Lee V. Chastain, Chastain Appraisal & Consulting, Inc., both
members of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers, at a
fee of $4,500.00 and $5,000.00 respectively, to appraise the fee
simple and the leasehold interests of property located at 700-22
and 726-32 N. E. First Avenue, Miami, Florida a/k/a Camillus
House property, is hereby ratified, allocating funds therefor
for these appraisals from Capital Improvement Project No. 322056,
"Camillus House Land Acquisition"as per Ordinance No. 10642.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of January , 1990.

It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the
attached Resolution ratifying the action of the City Manager in
accepting the appraisals of Lee H. Waronker, Waronker. and
Associates, Inc., and Lee V. Chastain, Chastain Appraisal &
Consulting, Inc., both members of the American Institute of Real
Estate Appraisers, at a fee of $4,500 and $5,000 respectively to
appraise the fee simple and leasehold interests for that property
located at 700-22 and 726-32 N. E. First Avenue a/k/a Camillus
House. Funds for these appraisals are being allocated from Capital
Improvement Project No. 322056, "Camillus House Land Acquisition as
per'Ordinance 10642."
BACKGROUND
The General Services !administration Department was requested to
obtain two appraisals of the fee simple and leasehold interests for
that property located at 700-22 and 726-32 N. E. First Avenue a/k/a
Camillus House.
Solicitation was made to all MA
