HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-90-0289J-90--274 3/2.9/90 90A2 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TWO INDIVIDUALS TO SERVE AS ALTERNATE MEMBERS ON THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, has recently been amended to provide for the appointment of two alternate members to serve on the City Code Enforcement Board; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to appoint such alternate members whose terms shall expire as indicated herein; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following individual is hereby appointed as an alternate member of the Code Enforcement Board to serve a term of one year, with an initial term to expire February 11, 1991: EVONNE RAGLIN ADN 600 N.E. 57th Street Miami, Florida 33137 Section 2. The following individual is hereby appointed as an alternate member on the Code Enforcement Board to serve a term of two years, with an initial term to expire February 11, 1992: MICHAEL ZOGBY 5554 N.W. Miami Court. Miami, Florida 33127 Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. ODIO City ManAger Enclosed herein please find a copy of R-90-289 which was passed and adopted by the City of Miami Commission at its meeting held on April 12, 1990, appointing you to serve as an alternate member on the Code Enforcement Board of the City of Miami. Pursuant to the Financial Disclosure law, Chapter 84-318(3), Laws of Florida, and as a member of the Code Enforcement Board, you will be required to file a Statement of Financial Interests form with the Supervisor of Elections, Dade County Department of Elections. Their address is: Metro Dade Center, 19th Floor, 111 N.W. 1st Street, Miami, Florida 33130 (Tel: 375-5553). Also enclosed is a copy of a memorandum from Jorge L. Fernandez, City Attorney, dated October 11, 1988, outlining some guidelines to assist members of City Boards and Committees in complying with the Government in the Sunshine Law. Also enclosed, for informational purposes, is another memorandum from the City Attorney, dated April 3, 1989 on legal requirements concerning Conflict of Interest and Dual Office Holding circumstances which may prohibit your membership in said bodies.
