WHEREAS, this system is readily understood by the pub i o and affords
visitors a means of easy reference for quickly determining their location and
finding their way through the area, and is widely used through the oountry for
these reasons; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, being cognizant of these facts and not
wishing to incrementally weaken this highly regarded axd useful system, which
has also been formally adopted by Dade County, also notes the follvwrimg
additional reasons for maintaining the system:
