April 19, 1990
Enclosed find attached the prepared Resolution requesting up
to ten (10) Police Patrol Specifications as Category "A" stock
for u.se by the City of Nest Miami, cars declared a surplus.
As you know we have recently signed a Mutual Aid Agreement.
As a direct consequence of such agreement, joint task force
operations have been carried out with excellent results and our
northern border (Eight Street) has been dramatically cleaned up.
I know that through a Resolution, the City intends to donate,
when available, up to twenty (20) surplus cars to Florida City and
that over 190 cars are due for replacerent beginning in September,
1990, therefore nal:ing avn? ilable lc-w) sitrolivs, "Police patrol
Specifications" vehicles.
I would like this Resolution to go on the Agenda in May. Let
me know by phone if you have any problem with this.
Very truly urs.,
