AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF ORDINANCE NO. 10544, THE MIAMI COMPREHENSIVE NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN 1989-2000, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 102-170 BOUT XWEST 7TH STREET AND 701-721 SOUTHWEST 2ND AVENUE, MIAMI. FLORIDA (MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN), BY CHANGING THE DESIGNATION OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY FROM RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL TO GENERAL, COMMERCIAL: MAKING FINDINGS; INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO TRANSMIT A COPY OF THIS ORDINANCE TO AFFRCTED AGENCIES; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS. the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its meeting Of May 16. 1990, Item No. 4, followin" advertised hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAB 32- 0, a 771to 0 vote, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL of an amendment to 44 Fu re Land Use Ma f 5d, Hance No. 10544, as amend the ami Comprehexwiv NeL hborhood Plan 1989-2000, a8 hereina ter set for a�� WHEREAS, the City Commission, suant to Motion No. 90-160, instructed the Administration to amend the Comprehensive Plan after duly 1990 in order to retain the existing zoning classifioation of the area of S.W. 7 Street and S.W. 2 Avenue (439 on the Map) as CG-2/7 General Commercial; and WHEREAS, the City Commission. after careful consideration of this matter. deems it advisable and in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami,.and its inhabitants to grant this Comprehensive Plan change as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Future Land Use Map of Ordinance No. 10544, as amended, the Miami Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan 1989-2000. is hereby amended by changing the designation, from Restricted Commercial to General Commercial, of those certain parcels of property located at approximately 102-170 Southwest 7th Street and 701-721 Southwest 2nd Avenue, Miami.
