HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-90-0481J-90-463(a) 5/31/90 RESOLUTION NO. 9 0 - 481 A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE DECISION OF THE ZONING BOARD TO GRANT A SPECIAL EXCEPTION, SUBJECT TO CITY COMMISSION APPROVAL, FROM ORDINANCE 9500, AS AMENDED, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, ARTICLE 20, SECTION 2031, SUBSECTION 2031.2 TO PERMIT A REDUCTION FROM FORTY (40) TO TWENTY-NINE (29) RESERVOIR SPACES FOR FOUR DRIVE-IN TELLERS FOR THE PROPOSED CITICORP SAVINGS FACILITY FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1790 BISCAYNE BOULEVARD, ALSO DESCRIBED AS TRACT A, BISCAYNE FEDERAL AMENDED AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOR 109 AT PAGE 77, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS PER PLANS ON FILE; ZONED CR 3/7 COMMERCIAL -RESIDENTIAL (GENERAL), THIS SPECIAL EXCEPTION HAS A TIME LIMITATION OF TWELVE MONTHS IN WHICH A BUILDING PERMIT MUST BE OBTAINED. WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that it wishes to review all applications for the installation of drive in - facilities; and WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board at its meeting of May 7, 1990, Item No. 5, adopted Resolution ZB 42-90 by a nine to zero -j vote (9-0), granting a special exception, subject to City i Commission approval, as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the City Commission, after careful consideration of this matter, deems it advisable and in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to affirm the decision of the Zoning Board; d NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Zoning Board's decision to grant a special exception, subject to City Commission approval, from Ordinance 9500, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami, Article 20, Section 2031, Subsection 2031.2 to permit a reduction from Forty (40) to Twenty -Nine (29) reservoir spaces for four drive-in tellers for the proposed Citicorp Savings facility for the property located at 1790 Biscayne Boulevard, also described as Tract A, BISCAYNE FEDERAL AMENDED as recorded in Plat Book 109, at Page 77, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, as per plans on file; zoned CR 3/7 Commercial -Residential CITY C©M USSION MEMNG OF JUN 28 199p 90- 481 a",or .., U (General), subject to a time limitation of twelve months in which a building permit must be obtained, is hereby affirmed and the Special Exception is hereby granted.
