HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-90-0532J-90-S77 7/2/90 RESOLUTION NO. 9 0 . 532 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF LANCASTER PAVIM IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OP $6,670.00, FOR THE BAYSIDE BARRICADES PROJECT, WITH MONIES THEREFOR ALLOCATED FROM AN (ESCROW ACCOUNT ESTABLISHED AND FULLY FUNDED BY THE BAYSIDE RESIDEtITS ASSOCIATION, IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,670.00 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COSTS; AND AUTHORISING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM. WHEREAS, informal sealed bids were received June 14, 1990, for the BAYSIDE BARRICADES PROJECT; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of the Department of Public Works recommend that the bid of Lancaster Paving be accepted as the lowest responsible and responsive bid; and WHEREAS, an escrow account has been established for the exclusive use of the City of Miami to cover the proposed amount of the contract, project expense, and incidentals, which account has been fully funded by the Bayside Residents Association; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The June 14, 1990 bid of Lancaster Paving, in the proposed amount of $6,670.00, for the project entitled Bayside Barricades, for the Base Bid of the proposal plus Add Items A and B thereof, based on lump sum and unit prices, is hereby accepted. Section 2. The amount of $6,670.00 is hereby allocated, from the escrow account established by the City of Miami solely for the purpose of covering the cost of said contract, which account has been fully funded by the Bayside Residents Association.
