WHEREAS, sealed bids were received June 14, 1990, for JAPANESE GARDEN IRRIGATION PROJECT (SECOND BIDDING); and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of the Department of Public Works recommend that the bid of JAFFER ASSOCIATES, LTD., be accepted as the lowest responsible and responsive bid; and WHEREAS, the 1990 Capital Improvement Ordinance No. 10642, was adopted on September 28, 1989, and monies are available for the proposed amount of the contract, project expense, and incidentals under Project No. 331317 of said ordinance; . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The June 14, 1990 bid of JAFFER ASSOCIATES, LTD.,. in the proposed amount of $26,998.00, for the project entitled JAPANESE GARDEN IRRIGATION PROJECT (SECOND BIDDING), for the base bid of the proposal, based on unit prices, is hereby accepted at the price stated therein. Section 2. An amount not to exceed .$26,998.00 is hereby allocated from the 1990 Capital Improvement Ordinance No."10642, Project No. 331317, to cover the cost of said contract. Section 3.
