WHWM, the Miami Police Department has surplus bicycles that have been
seized or abandoned and are now the property of the City of Miami; and
MMVM, the U. S. Coast Gard is in need of a quick and reliable VICE"
of transportation to respond to 'evolving law enforcooent situations; and
marmst the Miami Police Department has donated bicycles to similar _
projects in the past and Category "A" Stock is appropriate for ten (10) city-

owned bicycles for use as set forth in this Resolution;

Ty r BE IT RESMVED BY THE CO[r USSICN OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this
Resolution are hereby approved, confirmed and adopted by reference thereto and
incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. Ten (10) city -owned bicycles are hereby donated to the
United States Coast Gard Group for use at its forward drug law enforcement
outpost on Cat Cay, Bahamas.
Section 3. This Resolution shall became effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED AM ADOPTED this 12th day of _ July , 1990.
