AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 20NING ATLAS OF

ORDINANCE NO. 11000 (EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 49
1990). THE NEW ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI* FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, BY CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 296 NORTHWEST 40TH
AVENUE AND 4901 NORTHWEST 5TH STREET, MIAMI,
FLORIDA (MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN),
FROM R-2 TWO FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (FOR
APPROXIMATELY 4901 NORTHWEST 6TH STREET) AND
R-4 MULTI -FAMILY HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL
(FOR APPROXIMATELY 896 NORTHWEST 49TH AVENUE)

TO C-1 RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL; BY MAKING
FINDINGS; AND BY MAKING ALL NECESSARY CHANGES

ON PAGE NUMBER 31 OF SAID ZONING ATLAS;
CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its meeting of
June 6, 1990, Item No. 3, following an advertised publio hearing,
adopted Resolution No. PAB 42-90, by a 6 to 0 vote, RECOMNENDING
APPROVAL of the request to amend the Zoning Atlas as hereinafter
set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, by Ordinance No. 10726,
April 26,
1990, has
approved
a similar change of zoning as an
amendment
to Zoning
Ordinance
9500; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after oareful oonsideration of
this matter, deems it advisable and in the best interest of the
general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to amend
the zoning atlas as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Zoning
