FEES AMID EXPENSES THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED AND DIRHCTING
THE WAIVER OF ANY umio FEES THAT CAN BE WAIVED:
SUBJECT TO SEXM CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS AS MAY BE
PRESCRIBED BY THE ADKINISTRATION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MiAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. In support of the Japanese Spring Festival, held April 28 -
29, 1990 on Watson Island by the Friends of the Japanese Garden, Inc. as a
fund-raiser for the City facility known as the Ichimura - Miami Japan Garden,
an amount not to exceed $1,983 is hereby allocated from Special Programs and
Accounts, Contingent Fund, as a grant to cover the unpaid balance of City fees
and expenses that cannot be waived and further directing the waiver of any
unpaid fees that can be waived.
Section. 2.Said waiver is hereby subject to and contingent upon the
sponsor's compliance with any and all conditions and/or requirements that may
be prescribed by the administration of the City of Miami.
Section 3. This Resolution shall beoome effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of July , 1990.

The Friends of the Japanese Garden was awarded the Management Contract for the
Mini_Ichimura Japan Garden. In short, the City of Miami transferred ali of Its
obligations to maintain the Garden to the Friends of the Japanese Garden with no
financial commitment. These obligations are enumerated in the Contract between

the City of Miami and Ricoh Corporation.
