WHEREAS, an appointment needs to be made to the City of Miami General Employees' and Sanitation Employees' Retirement Trust Board of Trustees to fill a vacancy and serve the remainder of a term of office as specified herein; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following individual is hereby appointed as a member of the City of Miami General Employees' and Sanitation Employees' Retirement Trust Board of Trustees to serve the remainder of a term of office which expires November 30, 1991: l Section 2. -i City Ordinance No. v, Section 40-227. Employees and Sanitation Employees Retirement Trust_to serve the remaining term of off its ' n place of the resigning board of trustee member. Attached is a prepared resolution.in accordance with Ordinance No. 10002 BACKGROM: City of Miami Code Section 40-227 (Ordinance No. 10002)j provides for the appoirtment of a nine member board of trustees to administer, and manage the retirement plan known as the "City of Miami General Employees' and Sanitation Employees Retirement Trust". Of these nine members, one is to be selected by the City Manager., two by, the general am loyees (APSCME bargaining unit), and two by. the sanitatic� �employees SZA'bargaining unit). Four independent trustees, who are tJ, not City employees, are to be selected by the City Commission.
