The Honorable Mayor and
Members of th City Commission
Cesar H. 0
City Manage
RECOMMENDATION:
DATE : July CJ , 1990 FILE :
Su9JECT : Amendment of Emergency
Medical Transportation
Fees
REFERENCES:
ENCLOSURES:
It is respectfully recommended that the amendment of emergency
medical transportation service fees be amended to reflect an
increase in the cost of providing this service.
BACKGROUND:
The Department of Budget has completed cost analysis and
comparative studies with regard to other cities and their charges
for these services. The City is providing the same level of
services as any other municipality at a rate that has steadily
increased, however, have not passed on those increasing costs to
the users of these services. This amendment -will still keep in
the City's responsibility of maintaining an equitable fee
structure.
