MONIES TO BE PAID DIRECTLY TO THE CITY ON AN ANNUAL BASIS, WITH THE COST OF -_ SAID LEGAL SERVICES NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF $3,000.00 BEING ALLOCATED FROM FY '90-91 BUDGETED FUNDS, SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND ACCOUNTS, WHEREAS, the City Commission has requested the City Attorney's Office to render a legal opinion on whether the City �- Commission may impose a fee or charge on the gross income C generated by the use of Off -Street Parking Department's parking meters; and WHEREAS, the City Attorney has determined that the answer to - such question necessarily involves a review of the City Carter and of the outstanding trust indentures and other relevant bond instruments governing revenue generated by the Department of Off - — Street Parking, thereby requiring a formal written bond counsel `- �a opinion; a _ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1.
