Section 2. Such closing of streets is subject to State approval and the issuance of permits by the Departments of P olice and' Fire, Rescue and Inspection Services. The Martin Luther King Parade will be held January 21, 1991. We are requesting the following: Street closures (Northwest 62 Street from Northwest 8th - Avenue to city limits). We are also requesting the cost of city services, including insurance costs. In previous years city services for Police, PP Fire and Solid Waste were provided on -duty by city personnel. Additionally, we are requesting an additional cash grant of f $20,000 to cover other expenses associated with the parade and activities. You have assisted us in bringing this commemorative parade to celebrate Martin Luther King legacy.
