CLOSURE OF DESIGNATED STREETS TO "ROUGH
VEHICULAR TRAFFIC, SUBJECT TO THE ISSUANCE OF
PERMITS , BY THE DEPARTMENTS OF POLICE AND
FIRE, RESCUE AND INSPECTION SERVICES THE AND =
SUBJECT TO ORGANIZERS PAYING FOR 'ALL
NECESSARY COSTS OF CITY SERVICES AND SUBJECT
TO THE ORGANIZERS OBTAINING INSURANCE TO
PROTECT THE CITY IN THE AMOUNT AS PRESCRIBED
BY THE CITY MANAGER.
WHEREAS, the United Way in conjunction with Southern Bell
will conduct the Little Havana United Way kickoff event,
consisting of a domino tournament at Domino Park, on October 2,
1990; and
WHEREAS, certain streets must be closed to through vehicular
traffic to ensure the safety of the participants and pedestrians
attending this event;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. In order to effectuate safe passage during the
Little Havana United Way kickoff event, consisting of a domino
tournament at Domino Park, the following streets are hereby
closed to through vehicular traffic on October 2, 1990 from
10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.:
Southwest Fifteenth Avenue from Southwest Eight Street to Y
Southwest Ninth Street. k

Included in the herein closure are all streets, avenues,
alleys, ways and thoroughfares which intersect the
enumerated areas delineated in this Section.
Section 2. Such closing of streets is subject to State }
approval and the issuance of permits by the Departments of Police �A
