BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following individual is hereby confirmed as having been selected by certified bargaining representatives of City employees to serve as a member of the City of Miami Affirmative Action Advisory Board for a term expiring July 11, 1992, and is hereby recognized as a Board member: Sgt. KEVIN McKINNON, Fraternal Order of Police, to serve for a term expiring July 11, 1992. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. BACKGROUND: The Department of Internal Audits and Reviews requests the confirmation of Sergeant Kevin McKinnon to the Affirmative Action Advisory Board. Major Jesse Wi11iams is no longer able to represent the Fraternal Order of Police (F.O.P.) on the Board as a result of being promoted. Sgt. McKinnon has been appointed by the F.O.P. to act as its representative for a term expiring July 11 ,• 1992-. _---In accordance with administrative policy, I am notifying you of the above so that you may confirm this member to the Board as r provided for in Section 1 or Ordinance 110. 9139.
