HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem #67 - First Reading OrdinanceJ-90-659 10/23/90 41 ORDINANCE NO. 13 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF ORDINANCE NO. 11000, AS AMENDED, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, SAID ATLAS HAVING BEEN INCORPORATED IN THE ORDINANCE BY SECTION 300 THEREOF, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FROM 0 OFFICE TO GI GOVERNMENTAL AND INSTITUTIONAL FOR THE BLOCK BOUNDED BY BISCAYNE BOULEVARD NORTHEAST 60 STREET, AND NORTHEAST 5 COURT; AND APPROXIMATELY 592 NORTHEAST 60 STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA, ALL DESCRIBED AS ALL OF BLOCK 4 AND LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK E, BAYSHORE REVISED, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 9, AT PAGE 60, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND BY MAKING ALL THE NECESSARY CHANGES ON PAGE NO. 14 OF SAID ZONING ATLAS; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, the Miami Zonin /OT d, at its mee of September 17, 1990, Item 6, lowing an advert's 'ng, adopted Resolution o. ZB 0, by a six to z o (6-0) vote, RECOMMENDING APPR VAL of a change of zoning �1 ification, as hereinafter set for ; and WHEREAS, the Cit Commission ft c eful consideration of this matter, deems it advisable in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Mi and its inhabitants to grant this change of zoning classification as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Zoning Atlas contained in Ordinance No. 11000, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami, Florida, said atlas having been incorporated in the Ordinance by Section 300 thereof, is hereby amended by changing the zoning classification from 0 Office 'to GI Governmental and Institutional for the block bounded by Biscayne Boulevard, Northeast 60 Street, and Northeast 5 Court; and approximately 592 Northeast 60 Street, Miami, Florida, all described as all of Block 4 and Lots 2 and 3, Block E, Bayshore Revised, as recorded 'in Plat Book 9, at Page 60, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
