The project consists of the construction of approximately 2.75 miles of streets in the area bounded by Biscayne Boulevard and Biscayne Bay between N.E. 55 Terrace and N.E. 61 Street. Construction will include the following: clearing & grading, constuction of asphaltic pavement, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, storm sewer facilities and landscaping. Prospective bidders will be required to sub ui t with their bid a copy of the appropriate Certificate of Competency as required by Dade County, which authorizes the bidder to perform the proposed work. Bidders are alerted to the provisions of Ordinance No. 10538 regarding allocation of contracts to minority vendors. The City will expect prospective bidders to submit an Affirmative Action Plan, as defined in said Ordinance, and as required in the Instructions to Bidders.
