NATOMA/TOOLUGA NEIGHBORHOOD
THEY HAVE COLLECTED $8258.00 FROM
PEOPLE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD FOR THE
WALLS., THE ESTIMATE THEY RECEIVED
WAS $11,275. $761.00 OF THAT IS FOR
PAINTING THE WALLS. $425.00 OF THAT
WAS FOR THE SURVEY. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
OF PUBLIC WORKS, JIM KAY, SAID THAT
THEY COULD DO THE SURVEY. AND THE
REST OF THE WALLS ON DIXIE AREN'T
PAINTED SO.... THE CITY HAD BUDGETED
$2850.00 FOR CHAIN LINK FENCE, SO
THE SHORT FALL WOULD BE ABOUT $1831.00.
SAVING THE CITY ABOUT $1000.00.
AND INSTEAD OF CHAIN LINK FENCE THEY
WOULD HAVE WALLS.
THEY WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP
IN GETTING THE OTHER COMMISSIONERS TO
APPROVE THIS ITEM.
HAVE RAISED THE MONEY THROUGH BAKE SALES,
COLLECTIONS THROUGHOUT THE NEIGHBORHOODS
ETC.
