Sinee no terms of office were assigned by the Commissioners, they have remained motions. FROM : City Mana a pEfERENCES • ENCLOSURES: RECOMMENDATION: It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution appointing certain individuals to serve as members of the Nuisance Abatement Board of the City of Miami, Florida. BACKGROUND: Ordinance 10883, adopted by the City Commission at its meeting of May 9, 1991, provided for the establishment of a Nuisance Abatement Board to consist of five (5) individuals with three (3) members serving an initial term of two (2) years and two (2) members serving an initial term of three (3) years with •all appointments thereafter being for a period of two (2) years. The Mayor and each Commissioner are to each nom~.nate one individual for appointment to the Board. At its meeting of July 11, 1991, Mayor Suarez nominated Robert Grill, vice Mayor Plummer nominated Earl Wiggins and Commissioner Alonso nominated Adrian Feradas. It is necessary, at this time, to clarify the term for each of these individuals. • In addition, two appointments still remain vacant.
