TN TMtO ►1
During discussion of Item PZ-7, on March 25, 1991, a Waterfront Charter
Amendment modification for the Riverparc Hotel, 100 SE 4th Street,
Commissioner DeYurre moved that the developer, Parque Del Rio- Ltd.', be
required to contribute $1,000 for park and playground equipment at the new day
care center at Jerry Curtis Park. Continuing that discussion,- Commissioner
Dawkins moved that $4,000 be allocated from the Proffered Trust Fund for park
and playground equipment at parks to be subsequently identified by Mayor
Suarez, Vice Mayor Plummer, Commissioner Dr. Alonso and himself.
The,Law.Department found that the second motion was not germane to the subject
of Resolution 91-248 and advised that the second motion should be brought back
separately and formalized.
The Proffered Trust Fund receives contributions from developers: unless
directed otherwise, as in this instance, the first $25,000 to accumulate in
the account is to be used for increasing security in Rainbow Village in
;
Overtown.
