HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-91-0175g J-91-11$ 02/06/91 RESOLUTION NO. � A RESOLUTION OFFICIALLY CLOSING, VACATING, ABANDONING AND DISCONTINUING THE PUBLIC USE OF THAT PORTION OF THE 10' NORTH -SOUTH ALLEY AND THE 5' NORTH --SOUTH ALLEY LOCATED IN THE BLOCK BOUNDED BY NORTHEAST MIAMI COURT, NORTHEAST 17 =_ STREET, NORTHEAST MIAMI PLACE AND NORTHEAST 17 TERRACE, MIAMI, FLORIDA; SAID CLOSURE, ABANDONMENT AND DISCONTINUANCE BEING A CONDITION FOR THE APPROVAL OF TENTATIVE PLAT NO. 1389 - "OMNI PLAZA". _ WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board at its regular meeting of i January 7, 1991, Item No. 4, following an advertised hearing, ? adopted Resolution No. ZB 4-91 by a five to zero (5-0) vote, RECOMMENDING official vacation and closure of certain portions of f certain alleys as herein set forth, in accordance with all recommendations of the Plat and Street Committee, subject to review and approval by staff of revised disclosure information; and WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that it is in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant the vacation and closure of certain portions of certain alleys and deems it advisable to do so; - NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference thereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. f d'y Section 2. The 10' North -South alley and the 5' North- g- South alley located in the block bounded by Northeast Miami Court,; Northeast 17 Street, Northeast Miami Place and Northeast 17 rsE 3v Terrace, Miami, Florida, are hereby closed, vacated, abandoned and discontinued for public use, said closure, vacation, abandonment and discontinuance being a condition for the approval of Tentative Plat No. 1389 - "Omni Plaza".
