A RESOLUTION RATIFYING, APPROVING AND COWIF44M THE
CITY ATTORNEYS EMPLOYHW OF THE LAW FIRM OF
CIEENSERG, TRAURIG, HOFFMAN, LIPOFF, ROSEN AND
02RIELt P.A. TO SERVE AS COUNSEL IN CONNECTION WITH
THE FIRST STALE OF THE LITIGATION INVOLVING THE
PETROLEUM PR MtJCTS CORPORATION NPL SITE, WITH THE FEE
FOR SUCH SERVICES NOT TO EXCEED $10,000.00, WITH
MONIES THEREFOR BEING ALLOCATED FRCM THE CITY OF
MIAMI'S SELF-INSURANCE AND INSURANCE TRUST FUND.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE- CCtWSSION OF THE CITY OF MLAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Attorney's employment of the law firm of
Greenberg, Traurig, Hoffman, Lipoff, Rosen and Quentel, P.A. to serve as
counsel in connection with the first stage of the litigation involving the
Petroleum Products Corporation NPLA/ Site, styled UNITED STATES OF AMUCA
versus [RESERVED], is hereby ratified, approved and confined, with the fee
for such services not to exceed $10,000.00, with monies therefor hereby
allocated from the City of Miami's Self -Insurance and Insurance Trust Fund.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.

ENCLOSURES:
It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission
approve the attached Resolution ratifying and approving payment
to the law firm of Greenberg, Traurig, Hoffman, Lipoff, Rosen &
Quentel, P.A. for services rendered and to be rendered in the
litigation involving Petroleum Products Corporation NPL Site,
using monies therefor from the Self -Insurance and Insurance Trust
Fund, and further authorizing expenditures from said fund for
necessary costs and expenses in connection with these
proceedings.
