INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $65,281.00, BASE BID OF THE PROPOSAL, FOR OVERTOWN STORM SEWER RETROFITTING PROJECT - PHASE I1 B-5584; WITH MONIES THEREFOR ALLOCATED FROM THE FISCAL YEAR 1990-91 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT ORDINANCE NO. 10782, PROJECT NO. 352276 IN THE AMOUNT OF $69,281.00 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; AND $13,641.00 TO COVER THE ESTIMATED EXPENSES, FOR A TOTAL OF — $82,922.00; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM. WHEREAS, sealed bids were received January 9, 1991, for OVERTOWN STORM SEWER RETROFITTING PROJECT - PHASE II B-5584; and17 WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of the g Department of Public Works recommend that the bid from MIRI ir CONSTRUCTION, INC., be accepted as the lowest responsible and t responsive bid; and WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 1990-91 Capital Improvement Ordinance No. 10782, was adopted on September 27, 1990, and monies are available for the proposed amount of the contract, project expense, and incidentals under Project No. 352276 ofsaid Ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF, THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contractl/ on behalf of the City of Miami with MIRI CONSTRUCTION, INC., for OVERTOWN S`;ORM SEWER RETROFITTING PROJECT - PHASE II B-5584, base bid of the proposal. The project will consist of retrofitting an existing stone sewer system in N.W. 9th Street between N. Miami Avenue and N.W. 1st Avenue, and will include constrution of Perforated Aluminum French Drains (24" Diameter), catch basins, cross drains and manholes.
