Home My WebLink AboutO-10826J-50-10330 11�15�9 ORDINANCE NO. 10826 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 10782, ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 27, 1990, AS AMENDED, THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE, BY REDUCING APPROPRIATIONS TO THE PROJECT ENTITLED "BAYE'RONT PARK REDEVELOPMENT - LIGHT TOWER", CIP PROJECT NO. 331230, IN THE AND UNT OF $10,000, AND INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS TO THE PROJECT ENTITLED "BAYFRONP PARK REDEVELOPMENT - PEPPER FOUNTAIN", PROJECT NO. 331306, IN THE SAME AMOUNT OF $10,000; AND BY INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS TO THE PROJECT ENTITLED "BAYFRONT PARK REDEVELOPMENT - SOUTH END AND CHOPIN PLAZA COURT", CIP PROJECT NO. 331305, IN THE AMOUNT OF $225,222.75, FRONT U.S. CORPS OF ENGINEERS ; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 10782 on September 27, 1990, establishing appropriations for the implementation of capital improvements in the City of Miami; and WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 10782 established appropriations for Capital Improvements Project No. 331230, "Bayfront Park Redevelopment - Light Tower"; and WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 10782 established appropriations for Capital -Improvements Project No. 331306, "Bayfront Park Redevelopment - Pepper Fountain"; and WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 10782 established appropriations for Capital Improvements Project No. 331305, "Bayfront Park Redevelopment - South End and Chopin Plaza Court"; and .. WHEREAS, funding is available from as yet unused monies from the Bayfront Park Redevelopment - Light Tower Project, in the amount of $10,000; and WHEREAS, funding is required to complete the final payment on the Bayfront Park Redevelopment - Pepper Fountain as expeditiously as possible for the benefit and enjoyment of the citizens and the general public; and WHEREAS, funding is available from the U.S. Corps of Engineers share of costs incurred as a result of remedial work on the fountain foundation and service tunnel foundation for the Bayfront Park Recreation Project, in the amount of $225,222.75; and WHEREAS, funding is required to complete the Bayfront Park Redevelopment - South End and Chopin Plaza Court as expeditiously as possible for the benefit and enjoyment of the citizens and the general public; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT .ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 10782, adopted September 27 1990, as amended, is hereby amended in the following particulars: 1 "Section 1. The herein appropriations are hereby made for implementation of all municipal capital improvements of the City of Miami, including new capital improvement projects scheduled to begin during fiscal year 1990-91. The herein appropriations which are hereby designated by reference to descriptive project title and number also include appropriations for previously approved scheduled projects as well as re -appropriations of prior fund appropriations. The source of revenues to support the herein appropriations is hereby identified by fund and project with the project appropriations and revenues therefor being set forth for seven program areas (I-VII) based upon use or functional category within said areas, as follows: Total Appropriations ( $ X 000) IV. If any section, part of section, paragraph, clause phrase or word of this Ordinance is declared invalid, the remaining provisions of this Ordinance shall not be affected. Section 4.
