A RESOLUTION; WITH ATTACHMENTS, AUTHORIVNG ' THE CITY MANAGER TOEXECUTEA FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT • 01' PURCHASE AND SALE, IN= SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, WITH HPLT CORP. FOR THE ACOVISITION OF THE TOWER THEATRE PROPERTY, LOCATED AT 1508 SOUTHWEST 8TH STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A", TO REDUCE THE PURCHASE PRICE OF SAID PROPERTY FROM THE ORIGINAL PRICE OF ; $388,121, AS APPROVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 91-635, ADOPTED v SEPTEMBER 11, 1991, TO $373,121 AND TO x PROVIDE THAT THE APPRAISALS OF THE PROPERTY MADE AT THE REQUEST OF HPLT CORP. BY SLACK AND COMPANY AND BY DELAHANTY AND ASSOCIATES SHALL BE PAID OR SATISFIED BY HPLT CORP. PRIOR TO OR AT THE TIME OF CLOSING. WHEREAS, the Commission of the City of Miami, by Resolution No. 91-635, adopted September 11, 199.1, authorized the City Manager to make an offer and execute an agreement, in substantially the form attached to said resolution, with HPLT Corp. for the acquisition of the Tower Theatre Property, located at 1508 Southwest 8th Street, Miami, Florida, and more particularly described in the attached Exhibit "A"; and - WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 91,-635, the City Manager f executed the Agreement of Purchase and Sale dated September 11, 1991, between the City of Miami and HPLT Corp., a copy of which Agreement is attached hereto as Exhibit "B"; and r. 1 f � j err..
