FOR FURNISHING AUTOMOTIVE RADIATOR REPAIRS ON A CONTRACT BASIS FOR ONE (1) YEAR WITH THE OPTION TO EXTEND FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL ONE (1) YEAR PERIODS AT A PROPOSED ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $18,000.00 FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION AND SOLID WASTE/FLEET MANAGEMENT DIVISION; ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR FROM THE FY'92--93 ACCOUNT CODE NO. 420901-670; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE CHIEF PROCUREMENT OFFICER TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS FOR THIS SERVICE AND THEREAFTER TO EXTEND THIS CONTRACT FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL ONE (1) YEAR PERIODS, AT THE SAME TERMS, PRICE AND CONDITIONSISUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were received August 17, 1992 for the furnishing of automotive radiator repairs for the Department of General Services Administration and Solid Waste/Fleet Management Division and. WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twenty-five (25) potential bidders and four (4) bids were received; and WHEREAS, funds for this purchase are available from the FY192-93 Account Code No. 420901-670; and WHEREAS, this service will be used by the Department of General Services Administration and Solid Waste/Fleet Management Division to repair and install automotive radiators; and CITY CONMUSSION KEETING OF NOV 12IM iWMIUAM NM 92- 699 WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Assistant City Manager in charge of the Department of General Services Administration and Solid Waste/Fleet Management Division recommend that the bid received from Radiator King, Inc. be accepted as the lowest most responsible and responsive bid; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference thereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The August 17, 1992 bid of Radiator King, Inc. for the furnishing of radiator repairs on a contract basis for one (1) year with the option to extend for two(2) additional one (1) year periods for the Department of General Services Administration and Solid Waste/Fleet Management Division at a proposed amount of $18,000.00, is hereby accepted with funds therefor hereby allocated from FY'92-93 Account Code No. 420901- 670. Section 3.
