HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-92-0666J-92-733 l0/8/92 RESOLUTION NO. 9 Z- 666 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 92-503, ADOPTED JULY 16, 1992, RELATED TO THE CARIBBEAN AMERICAN CARNIVAL 1992 PARADE, THEREBY CHANGING THE ROUTE OF SAID PARADE AND PROVIDING FOR THE WAIVER OF ALL WAIVABLE CITY FEES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Resolution No. 92-503, adopted July 16, 1992, is hereby amended in the following particulars:i/ "Section 1. In order to effectuate safe passage during the Caribbean American Carnival 1992 Parade, the following streets are hereby partially closed to through vehicular traffic on Sunday, October 11, 1992 as specified below: From 7:00 A.M. to 1.. . 4:00 P.M. Biscayne Boulevard from Northeast Fifth Street to Northeast Fourteenth Street (north of the Part of Miemi j . Biscayne Boulevard from East Flagler Street to Northeast Fourteenth Street. 1/ Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted. Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Asterisks indicate omitted and unchanged material. CITY COM USSION MEETING OF OCT 0 8 1992 Resolution No. 92- 666 included in the herein Closure are all streets, avenues, alleys, ways and thoroughfares which intersect the enumerated areas delineated in this Section. Section 4. All _waivable City fees are hereb waived. Section 4-.5. The herein authorization is hereby further conditioned upon the organizers obtaining insurance to protect the City in the amount as prescribed by the City Manager or his designee. Section 5-.6.
