Home My WebLink AboutR-92-0204J-92-271 3/26/92 RESOLUTION NO. 9 2 2 9 1 A RESOLUTION DISCLAIMING ANY INTEREST IN A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN UNPLATTED ALLEY OWNED BY METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY AND LOCATED BETWEEN NORTHEAST 31 STREET AND NORTHEAST 32 STREET, EAST OF BISCAYNE BOULEVARD, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Metropolitan Dade County is the fee simple owner of the following legally described strip of land located within the City of Miami lying between Northeast 31 Street and Northeast 32 Street and east of Biscayne Boulevard, hereinafter referred to as "County owned land": A strip of land being 14.63', more or less, on East end and 4.95' on West end, lying between Block 6, ELWOOD COURT, BAY FRONT SECTION, Plat Book 16, Page 70; and Lots 1 to 6, ELWOOD COURT, Plat Book 9, Page 181; and Lots 1 to 11, Block 1, BROADMOOR, Plat Book 2, Page 37, and Lots 1 to 8 , HAINES BAY FRONT SUB. , Plat Book 29, Page 55, of the Public Records of Dade County; and WHEREAS, on or before December 10, 1946, the City of Miami, by resolution, requested that Dade County set aside and dedicate said strip of County owned land for public street or alley purposes; and WHEREAS, on December 10, 1946, by Resolution No. 2347 the Dade County Commission set aside and dedicated the land "for public street or public alley purposes, the same to continue until further resolution of this Board"; and CITY COMMISSION MEETRvG OF MAR 2 F.E997 Revolution No. 92-- 204 J-92-271 3/26/92 RESOLUTION NO. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby incorporated by reference thereto and adopted as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. That the City of Miami hereby disclaims and renounces any interest in the west 454.25 feet of the County owned land and specifically requests that Metropolitan Dade County no longer set aside and dedicate said land for public street or public alley purposes.
