RESOLUTION NO. c9 2 — 9 U
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND
SINCEREST CONDOLENCES OF THE CITY COMMISSION
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AND ITS
CITIZENS TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF DELIA
PADRON UPON HER UNTIMELY DEATH.
WHEREAS, Delia Padron who recently passed away, will always
be remembered as 'the mother of Wolfson Campus' because of her
support for the college's activities; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Padron was also instrumental in promoting such
successful City of Miami events as Paella and the Miami Book
Fair; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission, on behalf
of the City of Miami and its citizens, to express its deepest
sympathy to the family and friends of Delia Padron;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. On behalf of the citizens of the City of
Miami, the City Commission hereby conveys to the family and

1 friends of Delia Padron, its deepest sympathy and sincerest

condolences, upon her untimely death.
Section 2. This Resolution is offered by the City
Commission as a token of its respect and esteem.
