Our exhibitors will be displaying and demonstrating ranges, grits, beverage dispensing equipment, flatware, china, bars, stainless counters, refrigeration units and related merchandise. Since potential customers (our attendees) care more about how well the equipment works rather than how well it , it is necessary for many of our exhibitors to sample foods and beverages. Additionally, a major national brewery wants to exhibit and provide a "hospitality lounge" for attendees. 'their participation is useful to them only if they can dispense samples from their line. My experience is that this level of sampling does not significantly impact concession sales at our industry conventions, We are seeking a temporary convention permit, which I understand, will authorize us to sample. In advance, I thank you for your prompt attention to this request. Should you need additional information, know that 1 am always happy to assi4t. KR:SS 92- 7 13
