Ms. Lori Ludes
Agenda Office
City of Miami
Dear Ms. Ludes:
rA NiA. S I A57
I have been referred to you from the Mayor's office for the purpose
of being placed on the full Commission hearing for June 11, 1992.
The item for the agenda, Fitness Fantasia, is a three day
educational conference and I am requesting co-sponsorship with the
City of Miami. The event was previously scheduled for May 28-31,
1992, and has been rescheduled for November 19-22, 1992, at the
James L. Knight center and Hyatt Regency Hotel. We have been
working on this project two years and I have attached the current
sponsors and supporting documentation for review.
This event will provide an insurance of greater solvency for our
community in several areas but most importantly is that it should
be understood that it has great value as a long term investment.
All proceeds of this event will benefit Agape women's Home which is
a community rehab program for women that does not charge for its'
services to our community.
Many have donated services to make this event a reality and believe
in the benefits to Miami and the charity the proceeds of this
conference will go to. With the City of Miami as a co-sponsor we
will be able to make this event a reality and insure the long term
benefits to Miami this event can bring.
Please notify me if any additional information is required. I look
forward to presenting this event to the Commission on June 1, 1992.
_ Sincerely,
Cheryl Patella
