TOWERS OF BLUE LAGOON (PLAT NO. 1349-D) N.W. 7th Street East of N.W. 51 Avenue The above described Plat has been submitted to your Department for Plat approval in 1989 and 1990, and upon your approval, for submission to the City Commission for final approval. Now it has been submitted for a third time. It appears that the City legal department does not have sufficient time to study and approve the Opinion of Title. Each time revisions have been made to conform to City code and requirements. The delays, which were beyond our control, have created a hardship that places our proposed Plat, and future development of the property, in serious jeopardy. What has now occurred is that the prior Code, 9500, has lapsed and it now becomes a burdensome requirement to change our plans again. In view of the circumstances that were beyond our control, and the hardships it creates for our Plat approval and plans for building development, we are requesting that your department and the City Commission, upon your recommendation, extend us the courtesy of accepting our Final Plat for approval, subject to Code 9500, as originally applicable in our earlier submissions.
