All ordinances or parts of ordinances insofar as they are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.. Section 5. It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached ordinance, as amended, increasing the appropriations to the Special Revenue Fund entitled! "Geographic Targeting Program" by $65,000, as the result of a successful application for additional grant funds from the U.S. Department of Justice. Ordinance No. 10913, adopted September 11, 1.991, established resources and appropriations for the "Geographic Targeting Program", in the amount of $75,000. As the result of a successful application to the U.S. Department of Justice, there are an additional $65,000 available for depoait into the fund. The request for the appropriation of these monies is required for the Miami Police Department to continue its efforts at combatting narcotics trafficking in those neighborhoods identified as high risk areas. The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, has awarded the City of Miami Police Department this grant of $65,000 as an incentive to target organizations involved in narcotics trafficking based on geographic location.
