AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1 AND 6 OF ORDINANCE NO. 10920, THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1992, ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 26, 1991, BY ESTABLISHING A NEW ACCOUNT ENTITLED: "TAX ANTICIPATION NOTES, SERIES 1991 NOTE FUND" AND APPROPRIATING A SUM OF $20,889,333 TO PROVIDE FOR THE REPAYMENT OF RECENTLY ISSUED TAX ANTICIPATION NOTES. WHEREAS, The City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 10920, the Annual Appropriations Ordinance, on September 26, 1991, establishing revenues and appropriations for the City of Miami, Florida, for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 1992; and WHEREAS, the City Commission approved the sale of Tax Anticipation Notes, Series 1991, in the aggregate principal amount of $20,000,000, pursuant to Resolution No. 91-696 adopted on September 26, 1991; and WHEREAS, the proceeds from said notes will cover anticipated temporary cash deficiencies during the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 1992; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 91-696 requires the establishment of a special fund in the General Fund entitled "The City of Miami Tax Anticipation Notes, Series 1991 Note Fund", funded from a 10965 pledge of ad valorem tax revenue, and appropriating a sum of $20,889,333 to provide for the repayment of recently issued tax anticipation notes; and WHEREAS, principal and interest for said fund amounts to $20,889,333; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Sections 1, and 6 of ordinance no. 10920, adopted September 26, 1991, the annual appropriation ordinance for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 1992, is hereby amended in the following particulars: V "Section 1. This Ordinance establishes a special fund in the amount $20,889,333 in the General Fund entitled "The City of Miami Tax Anticipation Notes, Series 1991 Note Fund" funded from a pledge of ad valorem tax revenue, and appropriating a sum of $20,889,333 to provide for the repayment of recently issued tax anticipation notes. Section 3. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances insofar as they are in conflict with provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. -3- Section 4. If any section, part of sections, paragraph, clause, phrase or word of this Ordinance is declared invalid, the remaining provisions of this Ordinance shall not be affected. Section 5. This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after final reading and adoption thereof. The City Commission approved the sale of .-Tax Anticipation Notes, Series 1991 in the aggregate principal amount of $20,000,000 pursuant to Resolution No. 91-696 adopted on September 26, 1991.
