A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 93-417, ADOPTED JULY 8, 1993, RELATED TO THE EXECUTION OF INDIVIDUAL CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENTS WITH SEVEN (7) NEIGHBORHOOD BASED HOUSING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATIONS ("CDCs") FOR THE PURPOSE OF UNDERTAKING ACTIVITIES TO STIMULATE THE DEVELOPMENT OF HOUSING AFFORDABLE TO LOW AND MODERATE INCOME FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS, THEREBY ADDING GREATER MIAMI NEIGHBORHOODS, INC., TO THE HEREINABOVE CDC RECIPIENTS TO BE FUNDED IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,000; FURTHER, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT WITH SAID CDC, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY; ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR FROM NINETEENTH YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM. WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 93-417, adopted July 8, 1993, Greater Miami Neighborhoods, Inc. was deleted from the list of CDC funding recipients; and WHEREAS, the Miami City Commission, at its Commission Meeting of July 22, 1993, reinstated Greater Miami Neighborhoods, Inc. to said list of CDC recipients to be funded from the Nineteenth Year Community Development Block Grant Program, in the amount of $100,000; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: L " 199 Revolution No. 93�--Z 04 Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference thereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. Section 3 of Resolution No. 93-417, adopted July 8, 1993, is hereby amended in the following particulars: I/ "Section 3. Funding from the Nineteenth Year Community Development Block Grant Program's Housing Community Development Corporation Reserve Fund, in the amount of $500,000, in addition to $40,000 from the Nineteenth Year Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program budget, is hereby allocated for the purpose of providing an administrative funding grant to the following not -for -profit community development corporations listed below: $,Z Greater Miami Neighborhoods. $100,000 1 Year Inc. Total $398;68@ $450,000" Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized/ to execute a contractual agreement with Greater Miami Neighborhoods, Inc., in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, for the purpose of undertaking activities to stimulate the development of housing affordable to low and moderate income families and individuals in the City of Miami, subject to approval of the corporation's work Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted. Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code provisions. -2- 93- 504 program by the U.
