AS AN ER OFFICIO VOTING MEMBER AND CHAIRPERSON OF THE BAYFRONT PARE MANAGEMENT TRUST FOR A TERM OF OFFICE EXPIRING ON MAY 31, 1994. WHEREAS, Commissioner J. L. Plummer, Jr. was appointed, pursuant to Resolution No. 89-842, adopted July 13, 1989, to serve as the representative of the City of Miami on the Bayfront Park Management Trust; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10718, adopted March 8, 1990, requires an annual review of the appointment of eaoh City Commissioner serving as a member of any authority, board or committee oreated by resolution or ordinanoe; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinanoe No. 11044, adopted Maroh 11, 1993, the Commissioner appointed by the City Commission to the Bayfront Park Management Trust shall serve as an en offioio voting member and Chairperson of the Trust; and WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed the above appointment and desires Commissioner Plummer to oontinue serving as the representative of the City of Miami on the Bayfront Park Management Trust; CITY COM3=821 N MEETING OF MAY 13 W3 Reeolutkc xt NOW, THEREFORE, U IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Seotion 1. The reoitais and findings oontained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by referenoe thereto and inoorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Seotion. Seotion 2. Commissioner J. L. Plummer, Jr. is hereby appointed to serve as an ex offioio voting member and Chairperson of the Bayfront Park Management Trust, to serve a term of offidb expiring on May 31, 1994. Furthermore, the City Manager is required to present the City Commission with a report on this subject for the Commission's review and consideration at a Commission meeting to be held no later than thirty (30) days before June 1st. In keeping with this requirement, attached hereto please find said report. The Agenda Office is hereby instructed to schedule this issue for consideration by the City Commission on the agenda for the first meeting in May so that they may review appointments and be ready to discuss them at the first meeting in June.
