Dear Mr. Odio:
The Coconut Grove Bicycle Club, Inc., a not -for -profit Florida
Corporation, in conjunction with The Miami Wheelers Bicycle Club,
Inc., wish to hold the Great Coconut Grove Bicycle Race on
Saturday and Sunday, March 27th and 28th, 1992.
As usual, we will meet with the City of Miami Police Department,
the Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce, and all other appropriate
groups and agencies in the immediate future.
I respectfully request that our application for the necessary
street closures be included in an upcoming City Commission
agenda. We also request a waiver of the provision of Ordinance
#10784 ("...creating a Coconut Grove Special Events District...")
calling for the submission of.our application 120 days prior.to
the date of the. event.
We plan no changes from the past several years in terms of times
or street closure locations. Inasmuch as this will be the 20th
edition of our event, we are "grandfa+thered" with respect to
certain aspects of the new regulations governing events in
Coczonut Grove.
